This is the newspaper clipping jack carries around during the flashforward, it sounds like the dead characters name starts with Jo, I think it's probably john locke.

Yeah, My thoughts reflect everything James said. It was really cool. and atleast now we have a promise that atleast Jack and Kate make it off the island. FUCK JOHN LOCKE. Though it has occureed to me that the future we saw could be altered by desmond. FUCKER.
I think the dead guy was just one of the random survivors. Judging by James picture i think his name was John Latham. Jack probably remembers everyone who crashed. And since hes obessed with the island and cant move beyond the experince he feels super bonded to everyone one of them. Thus he goes to their funerals. Thats why Kate reacts with "Why would I go?". Cause for her its some clown she barely knew.
I'm not so sure that Bens number 2 man Richard does not age. That totally could just have been poor make-up. Or he may just age really healthily.

Well, Jack looked pretty messed up. I really do get the feeling that they messed up somewhere. How come the Russian and John can't die?

Back in the day whenever the Cosby show lost steam they would throw another kid in there to mix it up. The writers of Lost take this to the nth degree, compiling a monstrous list of characters that occasionally relate together and sidetrack from the actual on-going plot. I am beginning to think the word "Lost" is a sick inside joke by the creators who want to make a show so loosely bound that the audience has no choice but to create the meaning from all the scenes.

Thats an awesome statement Buck.
So theres time dilation on the island. Island time moves slower then regular time. I bet it runs about 108 minutes off. Thats what the bottom did. It synced the island time by harnessing the electromagnetic energy which causes the dialation. But when the hatch exploded all thats stored energy(time) was released. Slowing island time to a crawl. Thus we will soon learn that the people who have come from the ship are not from 2004 which they should be. (remember the show started in 2004 and its only been like 80 days). The vessel be will be from 2008 or later. Thats why Walt is taller. Additionally this is why Desmond was thrown "Out of time" it was the release of the release of that energy. I wonder if desmond can see 108 minutes into the future. HMmmmmm. we shall see. I am hoping that the genius creepy scientists dude who figured out the time dialation will figure out everything else on the island. Lihe what the fucking monster is.
But yes, Max Buckley headroom is correct. These new chatacyers only detract from, not advance the ongojg story./ Bastards.

How can there be any time lapse when it's never present in the phone conversations? Just more deceptions and lies by the Hanzo Foundation Ok, now I am not the master of this shit. But it may not be 2005 on the island. it might be 2008 everywhere, its just that on the island it only took 100 days to go from 2004 to 2008. The continuing Dialation (108 minutes over 24 hours) would be so slight it would be unoticable over radio. But check this out. What if it actual is 2005 on the island and 2008 off the island. But when Ben and Sayid leave they leave into 2005. Hence, Ben's "Man on the boat" is actual future Sayid. OH SNAP

Why are you pulling that brain teaser shit? Now I'm even more confused. I wish the producers would change the name of the show to "CONFUSED."
Kate is a whore. She is totally untrustworthy. She is annoying. She is manipulative.
Does anyone else get the feeling that the top of Jacks head will one day erupt in a nuclear explosion that will threaten the very existence of mankind?
OK, I'll bite. Why is the name Aaron significant? Who is Aaron? Is that really Sawyer's name? I was expecting Ben to be sitting in Kate's house when she got back from trial. Remember Multiple Man from X-Factor, the guy who could create multiples of himself. That's really Ben's special power.
I was remembering G.I Joe comic books today. Remember when Cobra commander tried to create his own country? Can the same thing be done with this Island? Ben-land? Oceanika? Kate's- Rusted-Kuntland?
Just some musings on this insane show.

Aaron is significant because Aaron is Claire's Baby. So Kate never had a baby. But something happened to Claire so that Kate had to take her baby and proclaim it as her own. And I think we're supposed to except Aaron as one of the Oceanic Six. Oceanic Six: 1) Jack (Definite) 2) Kate (Definite) 3) HUrley (Definite) 4) Sayid (Definite) 5) Baby Aaron (Probably) 6) The dead person whos Ghetto funeral Jack attended in last years finale. The new paper clipping had the persons name begining with Ja- or Jo-. Other possibles) What about Michael and Walt (The Blackys). Are they oceanic 6 too. IF not then why. Did they never leave the island. Hmmmmmm

The man on the boat is the Russia. That dude can't be killed.
The stolen baby definitely is the Oceanic 6. How Kate convinces the world she got pregnant before the flight went down must be good. Probably just lie about baby birthdate. More likely the writers don't give a damn anymore. "Any time something makes no sense, throw in an explosion or a flashback. Or both."
