Intresting: The Black Rock(the Ship on the Island) was owned and run by the British trading group the New World Sea Traders and was one of the three slaving ships the company ran. The New World Sea Traders was owned and operated by Magnus Hanso, a former ship's captain who became a business entrepreneur. The Hanso Foundation funded the Dharma Initiative.
I am thinking there are paranormal(Ghosts and shit) things going on as well as scientific. Ben's mom died during child birth-women on the Island die during child birth-Ben see invisable people and there are wispers-a mass grave......

Yeah, I dont know how to feel about this. A normal season of a show has 24-26 episodes. Losts first two season had 23 episodes. So basically they have 48 episodes left. 2 seasons worth. But they gonna stretch it into 3. Fuckers.
The main thing is this. They gotta bust up more information quicker. They cant save every little piece of revelation for the final episode of the final season.

I had not heard that part about the Black Rock being owned by Magnus Hanso. Thats interesting. Remember the blast door that Lokce saw. That had Latin on it. One of the things writtin in Latin was the final resting place of Magnus Hanso. Presumably Magnus Hanso is like the great Grandfather of Alvar Hanso. Head of the Hanso foundation. I suppose it seems logical to assume that Magnus Hanso discovered the island way back in the day and it was passed down through his family. Thats how Alvar Hanso knows where it is. The Hostiles probably arrived on the island way back in the day during the ages of the Blackrock. Could they be the crew or descendants of.
One of the big questions was last week when the young Ben met Richard and Richard appeared to be the same age he is now. I just chalked that up to bad makeup. But now I am not so sure. So Richard is either aging real slow or not at all.
I was talking about this possibility way back. Cause if you have dudes on the island who are 100s iof years old that would make some interesting flashback stories. How cool would it be if Richard was the captain of the Blackrock and we see his flashback story back in the 1800s.

Ben said. "You do remember what Birthdays are, Don't you Richard". I love this show but it's kind of cooky and I smell a ghost. When airplanes crash or come apart at 40,000 feet people usually die.
However, If they were in a stasis or matrix like thing why would the others need to send spies and steal people.

I am at work and have not seen the new show this weak I'll watch it tomorrow. I was thinking that Ben is a master manipulator and that he is setting the passengers up. I believe he let Locke steal the tape recorder. It's all a set up. Ben also left Locke alive on purpose. I don't know how this carries over to the main plot but Ben is clearly central. Possible theories...
1. I see dead people theory (Ghosts and Shit) 2. Time travel...They are dead in the present..alive in the past 3. Scientific (electro magnetic-matrix shit)
I have to say the characters actions are kind of predictable. Accept Jack is starting to deviate. He usually takes private sessions with people. However last show he said "If you have something to say you can say it in front of Juliet". There is some major manipulation going on.
I'll check back here after I have seen the new show. I am excited to see what happens.

That theory is tooooo loooonnnggggg to read. But I get it. Its derived from the Sri Lanka video. In case anyone missed it the producers of Lost created a sortof online treasure hunt between season 2 and 3. After solving pieces to puzzles you could piece together a video. The Sri lanka video. Which is the Orientation film for new dharma iniates. It tells you what the numbers are and what Dharma is. This is absolutly from the shows producers but i dont put it beyond them to create false shit to lure the fanboys. But for any who may be interested here is the video www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Sri_Lanka_Video

I was thinking that might be a comm cable or that the underwater station has a back up generator. Either way it's cool to explore a new hatch. I was moved by Charlie's heroism. It seems every character on lost has a chance to redeem themselves. I like the fact that every character is like a real person in so much as each has sin but they also are capable of good deeds. Non are all good or evil...accept Ben . Rob are you really pissed off are are you just frustrated at how painfully slow answers are revealed. I love this show and am entertained even when the action is slow. Any show that can make me think about after it's over is a good one. Hero's and the Black Donnelly's are cool too.

Oh I'm pissed offf. What kills me is when the story serves itself only to stop us the audience from getting answers. Like they capture Mikhail and presumably they will interrogate him for answers. But Lock seemingly kills him. They find the flame hatch with tons and tons of paper work on all kinds of shit. But Locke fucking blows the place up. That shit kills me.
But no doubt its some of the best television I have ever seen. I'll keep watching I thinki forever but I'm gonna keep bitching and calling bullshit.
Heroes is cool too but that show actual gives up the answers. That makes me love it soooo much. And ofcourse my nigga Sulu is on the show so its gotta be good.
Something interesting: Jacob is the Biblical figure, grandson of Abraham, the 3rd and last patriarch who becomes Isreal. He has 12 sons who beget the 12 tribes of Egypt. His youngest son was Benjamin whose mother died at birth. Interesting

Rob has a definite point. The discovery of a new hatch, especially something as unique as the one discovered underwater, should herald new excitement, like, "oh yeah, a new hatch, awesome! I wonder what new stuff we will find out now!" But instead, it's all anti-climatic because we know, without a shadow of a doubt, that we won't find out much, and what we do find out will be at such a painfully slow rate, that by the time we actually find out anything interesting, we could care less about the new hatch.
The show is a victim of its own pace. It's hard to get excited anymore. It is super-interesting. We have also invested a lot of time into the show and we want to see it through to the end to get to the bottom of the mystery. The only question was, will the entertainment and the wait, outlast the interest. The X-Files succumbed to this. I think Lost has learned from that fiasco and that was why the best thing they could have done was announce the end date of the show, because at least we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
But to recap...
1. There is a creature, or entity, named Jacob, that is invisible to everyone except Ben. Ben takes orders from this entity. Is it a ghost? Is it something else? Ben is jealous because he knows Jacob talked to Locke.
2. Dharma has been debunked. The Others are really the "Hostiles." So the Dharma Initiative is really a red herring, useless to us as information. We were strung along for a season with useless shit.
3. We now have Hostiles. Ben betrayed the Dharma people, killed tham, and joined the Hostiles. So now we need to find out who they are, why they are there, etc...just like Dharma all over again. We got screwed amigos.
4. We got a girl who parachuted onto the island, b/c her helicopter crashed, (that we never actually saw), and says she is looking for Desmond and her ship is only 80 miles away. Where is HER search party? Is this fucking island invisible or is she another plant?
5. Locke is a pussy.
I think that about sums it up. Have we actually learned anything this season? Really, think about that and answer me back. Have we actually learned anything this season that can explain the goings on about this crazy island?

Holy fucking shit my mind is still blown and i can't sleep. Heres a random assortment of thoughts.
The people on the boat or whaever, naomis people, maybe they are whatever is left of dharma or something and they are gonna try and kill everyone bomb the island or something.
Hurley ramming the van into the others on the beach was awesome, Hurley is awesome. Also Jins takedown and the way sayid broke that guys neck with his feet was awesome. It's nice to see the losties actually doing damage to the others and not getting their asses kicked constantly, the constant failure of the losties plans against the others was starting to piss me off.
So much ass kicking in this episode.
WAAAAAAAAAAALT! is back, or jacob or the smoke monster or whatever took his form to lead john locke, hes miraculously aged 3 years so they'll either write that into the story somehow or try to convince us hes still the same age and never show him again.
I think the jacob choose john to be the new guardian of the island, thats why it always heals john and stopped healing ben. Maybe John couldnt see jacob in the shed because he didnt really kill his father himself, while ben really did kill his father.
The other who always looks like hes wearing eye shadow or something, WHY HASNT HE AGED AT ALL SINCE BEN WAS A CHILD!!! THE ISLAND MAKES YOU IMMORTAL! shit what if we find out that guys hundreds of years old and we start seeing flashbacks from centuries ago.
Jesus christ all the flashbacks were actually happening in the future and everyone was saved, who could it be that was in the coffin? John? Ben?
During the flashforward Jack mentioned his father several times as if he was alive, i think it's most likely he was lying/too fucked up to say anything that made sense.
Where can the show go from here? what if from now on instead of showing flashbacks they show things in the future during the episodes? even more strange what if from now on we see the characters in the future after they were rescued on every episode and the episodes flashbacks are all of what happened on the island.
I can't think clearly anymore i'm gonna try and goto sleep now.
