BOONE. "Dude, I have come back to stand lifeguard duty. Did you guys find out what was in that hatch?"
That shit made me laugh hard.
No reason to believe they have actually been on the island as long as they have or actually have any contact with the outside world other than supply drops, these guys have lied about everything. I was wondering if they were superheros forging a new X-Men colony and that's why they are so paranoid about being discovered. It's not nuclear under there, it's Magneto...
"Personally, I would have turned the gun on that chick, shot her to pieces, and not cared if Kate got a bullet." Fucking right dude, they're not star-crossed lovers she makes out with anyone that makes a move. Next it will be June getting up in that ass. A machine gun in hand, dude should have blasted his way out for fucking sure. I disagree about Sawyer's character though, they gave him the outsider little boy treatment for all that time and now try and make him into anti-Jack. Not killing last episode feels like a totally different character from the guy who rumuged through corpses for things to use to his advantage.
"Only Sayeed seems to be willing to go the distance." I think that's why he's everyone here's favorite. I think the Korean guy might be undercover badass waiting to blow though.
The % of badasses? Maybe because it's transatlantic to Australia. The continent with more deadly animals than any other and populated by wild natives and the seed of prisoners.

PS I read Island a couple of times and Lisa has too.
There is nothing in there that should ever at all pertain to lost other than the coincidence of the setting. I guess there are a lot of Eastern philosophy things and Cold War undertones, but Lost has gone an entirely other direction from those. This just seems like an additional, desparate, red herring.

Picking up on that Jack shit. I like Jack cause he tries to hold it all together only to break then fuck down and bug out from time to time.
But they do cram him down your throat. I mean hes the best at everything.
I am fine with him being the smartest. That makes sense to me. Spinal Surgeons have bad ass education and they said he graduated college faster then anyone. So I cool with that.
But hes the toughest dude on the island. Why?. All they did was show one short clip of him being bullied when he was young.
Then he beats Sawyer at gambling. I would say thats impossible.
Yeah they gotta let Sawyer shine. Sawyer's not a killer though. He still regrets killing that one guy. But hes probably warming up.

I read today that Lost ratings are down. Not horrible or anything but there was a big drop off from the priemeire to the second episdoe. Wildly enough the crime show CRIMINAL MINDS nearly overtook lost in ratings at that timeslot which is bonkers. Both these shows are beasts. I watch CRIMINAL MINDS in the offseason and its mad good. Its about FBI profilers who hunt serial killers and are led by "Arigo Montoya, You killed my father" Mandy Patankin. I'm hoping Lost will continue to fall in the rankings causing the producers to bust up with bigger and better shit. With Mandy Patankin on our side, who can stop us.

Great episode. I really enjoyed it. And ofcourse AS I DEMANDED. BOONE IS BACK BABY. The beach is safe again. No really though, I always did like Boone. Hes reactions were the reactions I would have. I related mostly to Boone and Jack. But Jack is super-human which I cant empathise with.
Some interesting shit about this episode: Lockes awakening is EXACTLY like Jacks awakening in the first episode. You know, where the whole thing began. This bothers me cause it makes me think of a reboot. Or atleast a re-entry into an experiment.
Charlie is fucked up. He knows the hatch exploded. But instead of looking for survivors he goes back to beach and hangs out all day. Apparently not telling anyone what happened.
The Kid locke picked up is wearing a Geronimo Jackson T Shirt. This is a fictional badn made up for the show. They found one of their LP’s in the hatch.
The polar is chasing them and then Hurley appears. No more Polar Bear. As I understand it a Polar Bear would just catch a human.
So the Hatch exploded or imploded but did not kill Desmond who was down in its bowels. He does not even have have burns. HMMMM. This is super natural for sure. Locke and Eko might have gotten out and were knocked out by blast. But desmond was in the shit. And anything that would have destroyed his cloths would have harmed him. So either its magical destruction, Super technological bomb, or Desmond is a regenerater. Or I don’t fucking know.
Fuck Lockes dream. But there is one thing. In his dream Jack, Sawyer, and Kate are behind glass being checked in by Ben. Sayid and the gooks are off in a different line. So he gets accurate information.
So Desmond knows what Locke will say in his speech. Did he see the future or has he lived this before. THIS SHIT IS SO FUCKED UP.
Anyhow, Lost is still the bomb

FUCKERS,
I was reading the other day that the producers of lost wanted to do away with repeats so what they have decided to do is to break the season in half. So half of this season will air then it will go off the air for a long time and they will run another show in the interim.
This weeks episode of lost was advertised as the Fall season finalle cause after this week Lost goes off the air for 13 weeks. We wont see Lost again until febuary. When it does come back on it will air continuously no repeats.
THIS IS FUCKING MADNESS> WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO FOR 3 MONTHS> GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Well, I think I have this season of Lost all mapped out.
Season 1 ended in the hatch Season 2 ended in the hatch (with destruction of the hatch) Season 3 will end in another hatch
The Hatch where the man with the eye patch is. The Man with the eye patch is Racinki, the guy who was Kelvin (Kurgen) roommate. The other dude in the hatch before desmond got there. I predict this because Racinki was the guy who made all the crazy maps and latin scribbles on the blast door. He was the guy interested in figuring it all out. He was the guy who cut the Dharma video, put in a bible and left it in that Silol hatch. Remember when they found the bible they also found a glass eye. Hes probably a smoker too. The one who left the cigarettes in the Pearl (video) hatch. I imagine last episod eof the season Locke confronts him. The eye patch man asks "What did one snow man say to the other snowman?" Exceopt this time Locke knows the answer "Smells like carrots."
Smells like carrots indeed.
And what of Desmond knowing the future. Hes "seeing you in the next life Brotha"

Jack really impressed me on that last episode and really solidified for me that he is certainly the most intelligent guy out of all the survivors. Locke would have to come next. I was totally bummed that they killed Mr. Echo, or have they? The black smoke is a Djinni? How, why? Where the heck does a djinni fit into all this? Why did the black smoke kill Mr. Echo? Is it an agent of this nether plane they are in?
So far the first episodes of the "Fall Season" haven't impressed me too much. Now I have to wait 13 weeks for the next "Winter Season?" Sounds like a gimmick to me. This show is about to go into a freefall I fear.

The little black cloud lores them with images and phantoms and the big black cloud kills them. I loved the way Mr Echo killed those other African gangsters. To bad he is dead. I guess Sahid is now the baddest man there. He is pretty smart too. Plus he is good at torture.

How dies a Djinni fit into all this.
Genies are basically a horrible rendering of a real islamic myth. The Djinn are like the devils of the mulsim religion. They appear as smoke. Though they can take the form of animals or reanimate the dead. They can be bound to items such as a lamp but traditionally they bound to a knife inscribed with the name of god. Muslums actually know a verse which they are to recite if encountered by a Djinn. Its like a protection spell. I wonder if Sayid knows this verse.
Check out Genie at wikipedia.
Also check out the Formosa Triangle.
The Formosa triangle is a "vile verticies" like the bermuda triangle but located off the coast of australia. Strangely enough they say the Formosa triangle is home to unusually high Djinn activity.

Djinn is not far from Forbidden Planet Theory. Which all works for me. Does this Forbidden Planet ID/monster audio clip at all sound like the Lost monster/smoke to anyone? members.aol.com/levereyes3/rob/id.wav

I looked and Formosa Trianle is listing near Japan, not near Australia. But there's another gridline vortice near Australia. This is all very amusing to me because I just read the Koran through and read up on many djinn passages. I cannot wait for Sayid to break out with, "I'm not a practicing Muslim" and everyone slaps their foreheads expecting the Arab to of course be the requisite Muslim. Then some bloke from the background who is one of those nobodies steps up and goes, "I'm Dave Buckley and I just spent the last month reading the fucking Koran, let me save the day!"
