Roy Jones: who won, who won, and who won? I know he got the decision (who won), but who really won the fight (who won) and was it worth the cost to watch (who won) And what now then? Jones is supposedly claiming to have a fight with Iron Mike in the works and that will be his final? Why on earth would that be his last fight, win OR lose? Roy Jones is one talented dude, but he sure is different. Then again, you have to be a little different to be willing to step in a ring and let massive men take hard punches at you over and over and over and over again. Who really won? Well i finally got to watch the fight. I did not watch undistracted so i could be wrong. But I agree with the anylists for once that While Tarvers flrries were much more exciting Jones won the greater number of rounds. If i get to see the fight again i will score it round by round. But it was a really good fight and Tarver is totally legit and game. Suprisingly enough the fight made alot of money which only proves Jones's stategy that any hype is good hype. All he has to do is say the name tyson and people watch him fight. Even if hes not fighting Tyson. My final thoughts on it are this. If tarver wants credit for beating jones hes gotta really beat jones. Maybe he came close to stealing the decision but thats all he did. I beleive Jones won a close fight.

Lewis is taking smack again. Maybe he will come back. Hes saying he could come back to face Roy or a tougher fighter in his opinion... Vitali Klitcho.
In other news:
BAD ASS YOUNG FIGHTER ALERT: Emmanuel Stewart, the best trainer in boxing (he trained holyfield when he was champ and then Lewis). Says he got some new shit for that ass. This guy named Tye Fields. He is 6'9, 270 pounds and is a south paw. He has a record of 30-1 with 28 KO's. Of his 28 KO's, 23 were in the first rd. He avenged his onyl lose with a 1st rd KO. This guy should be coming up somewhere soon. Should be interesting.

Recent fight results:
Vitali Klitcho KO 2 of kirk johnson Vladimir Klitcho KO 4 of Dannell Nicholson
John Ruiz wins decision over Hasim Rahman to become WBA interim heavey weight champ. This means that i Roy does not face John Ruiz (again) within 120 days then John Ruiz is champ again.
Corey Sphinx (son of Leon) beat Mayorga to become totally undisputed Welterweight champ.
Hopkins beat Joppy to remain Undisputed Middle weight
Lewis talks like he might come back to face Vitali. Roy talks that he will face tyson. Hopkins wants De La Hoya. Trinidad is coming back. Riddic Bowe out of prison wants to fight in July and is calling out Lewis. Note he has an IQ now of 71 (this is for real). Corey Sanders (guy who KO'd Vladimir) will very soon be stripped of his title (WBO).
I hope some of these fights get put in concrete as there are no good fights on the horizon.

Riddick Bowe has an IQ of 71?!!!! Is that because he is punch drunk or is just now ultra stupid because he was in jail and didn’t read any books?

Riddic Bowe....
He was no genius when he started but after 3 wars with holyfield and 2 with Andrew "Combo to the nuts" Golota he is very very dumb.

This could be bullshit.
But Pride fighting mixed martial arts (K1) has announced Mike Tyson will fight Bob sapp. They are trying to arrange George Foreman to fight on undercard. Oh my god man. They are saying it will definatly be in the US. Probably Hawaii.

Who can George Foreman possibly fight at this point? A slab of beef on a meathook? A punching bag? What other former heavyweight can they dredge up for dollars? I bet there are plenty willing, but the name is the draw and who is out there? Muhammed fucking Ali in a damn wheelchair? How about the George Foreman chili cookoff or hot dog eating contest is more like it.
Well, I guess my sick as is intrigued now anyway and wondering what it would be like if old George strapped on the gloves and kicked ass one more time for old time's sake. I'd vote for Vargas with one hand behind his back, just to see his punk ass take a swift beating.

I guess they want to match george up with the other badest man from K1. Which would be bad. Those K1 guys are no joke. Real bad ass martial artists and stuff.

Hes WHITE, Hes WHITE, A while back i put up a post talking about some propect that emanuel stewart was talking about. (Emanuel stewart is best trainer in world who trained Lewis and holyfield). The guy is 6'10 and 270 lbs. Hes got 29 wins with 27 KO's. I just assumed he was black. NO NO NO. I saw him fight tonight. Hes a HUGE american white boy. He kind of looks and talks like the oldest boy from the brady bunch but hes mad big and deisal. He looked kindof Clumsy to me but if Emanuel says hes the nuts i gotta see more. Theres a picture of Tye "Killing" Fields on this page. Hes the monster with cornrolls. www.mgdevelopment.com/mgf-3.htmAnd heres a link to his ring record www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=015663

De la hOya cried foul when he lost. There is a serious investigation to follow. They find the scales were literally tipped in his favor at the weigh-in to allow his more weight.
This is bizarre. The guy crying wolf is the guilty party?? It is no wonder that there are upstart franchises like K1/2 and Ultimate Fighting leagues, boxing is a dirty business.
I saw that Killing Fields picture you linked and he looks like a bad man. I would not fight him. ;D
