Hey,
Zab Judah has been added to that fight card aswell. I hate Zab Judah but tis yet another big name for that card. I wonder if they will get a name to oppose him. I bet they try for Arturro Gatti. That would be GREAT.
Rahman v. Tua Hopkins v. Joppy Mayorga v. Sphinx Judah v. TBA
Don King is my new hero.

Is this "next generation" heavyweight fight card on ESPN or were they just talking about it a lot for no promotional reason?

That Tua site is garbage. Looks like they update it every six months or something. And I would leave out the part about Tua's daddy making him fight grown men off the street and facing beatings. Sure, it's boxing, but that goes more toward the child abuse side of things. That's my two cents anyway.

Yes yes,
and it leaves the impresssion with fathers that if they make their children fight grown men then perhaps some day that child could fight for the heavyweight championship of the world.
"The next generation of heavyweights" on ESPN is something else. ESPN only gets the fights no one else will show but sometimes good one slips in. The Tua card will be on HBO. Probably on the "Championship Boxing" promotion. Tommorro HBO is having the "Night of young heavyweights" or something like that. There will be six hot prospects fighting. I've seen 5 of the 6 guys fight before and they are all good.

Yes yes,
All 3 fights in the so called "Night of Young Heavyweights" were good. All 3 winners will be going places. Especially the bad asss white boy from buffalo. This guy is rocky marciano all over again. He just hits really really really hard.
BABY JOE MESI is his name. All you suckers will know it soon.
Unfortunatly the undefeated buffalo sensation Mesi has been trying to get a fight with a big time person for some time. I now fear that he will be pitted against Mike Tyson. That could be bad.
Next weekend Heavyweight prospect undefeated Cedric Boswell will face Jameel "Big time" Mccline on friday. Then saturday night ...
The only 4 time heavyweight champion and undisputed Cruiserweight and Heavyweight champion of tyhe universe returns to the ring at the tender age of 41 . .. EVANDER "THE REAL DEAL" HOLYFIELD vs. James "Lights out" Toney -(Current Cruiserweight champ and former undisputed Supermiddle weight champ)
Toney is a bad man but The WARRIOR will never stop.

Ok,
so holy field got stopped. The corner actually stopped it but i am sure they meant well. Holyfield was looking bad but that is all about the vicious exchanges. Ever since his shoulder surgery he just cant keep his left up. I think he could still hang in there with big heaveyweights. But the fast guys (byrd-toney-jones) will get him. This may sound terrible but i hope he continues to fight. De la Hoya has announced hes gonna keep fighting.
No fights for a while. But on demeber 6th both Klitchos will fight on same card. Vitali will face Kirk Johnson and think Vladimir going after Dominic Guinn. Dont know yet.

More boxing here.
The tua - rahman fight has been changed god damn it. Tua has problems with his old manager sewing him and i think tua belives the winner of that fight will not get the belt and the WBA will simple award it to Roy Jones when he returns. Tua would not be totally unjustified in thinking this. SO John Ruiz replaces Tua on the card. Still good fight but I will miss tua.
The Vitali Klitcho card is set. He will mface Kirk johnson and the undercard will feature the buffalo super ko white boy Baby Joe Mesi. Hes awesome. And best of all the fight is at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN.

Roy Jones: who won, who won, and who won?
I know he got the decision (who won), but who really won the fight (who won) and was it worth the cost to watch (who won)
And what now then? Jones is supposedly claiming to have a fight with Iron Mike in the works and that will be his final? Why on earth would that be his last fight, win OR lose?
Roy Jones is one talented dude, but he sure is different. Then again, you have to be a little different to be willing to step in a ring and let massive men take hard punches at you over and over and over and over again.

True story.
I read in the New York Post the other day a fight is trying to be put together between Mike Tyson and a sumo wrestler (I forgot the guys name but he’s over four hundred pounds) in that K1 fighting championship. K1 is like the Ultimate Fighting Championship where people of different martial arts disciplines go against each other in full contact.
The article gives the impression that Mike is talking money and is ready to go to contract if the money is right.

Oh man oh man,
This has been going on for a while. They say Tyson has signed to fight in K1. Basically what he signed is the rights for some group to pormote him in K1. But K1 continues to gather more and more respected people and it could happen. Mike might consider it easy money. Though Roy Jones junior now has his sights set on tyson. They are trying to make a deal. What results might come of this negotiation. Well roy jones basically tries to rob the guys he fights so heres the possible options that will occur.
1) Don King has rights t promote jones next fight and tyson wont work with king so it does not happen.
2)Jones tries to run a robbery on mike and mike refuses or is frustrated and the fight is no good.
3)Jones never intends to fight tyson just uses the hype to bring attention to him so he will make more money when he fights next which will be against a chump.
4)The fight is signed and tyson either backs out or no show.
5)Tyson mutilates jones at press conference and the whole thing is off.
6)The fight happens.
I believe the fight has a serious chance of happening. We shall start to here more and more very soon. Any predictions.

My vote is the 3-4 combo from your list. I bet they both back out of it late in the game, even after a date is set for the thing and everything a go.
