Well Looks like we got another "Night of the Living Dead" remake. This time its "Night of the Living Dead 3D". It appears that its done with entirely new people. I cant find any involvement of Romero, Savini, or the guy who made the 1990 remake. This is not the old movie transferred to 3D, This is a brand new flick. Apparently "Night of the Living Dead" copyright is in the public domain so any asshole can remake it. And I think thats what happened. The production value looks horrible similar to alot of direct tv crap. Way worse then anything on TV. The only actor I recognise is the dumass who played the clown in "House of 1,000 corpses" and "The Devils rejects". Heres the trailer www.apple.com/trailers/independent/nightofthelivingdead3d/Heres the IMDB page www.imdb.com/title/tt0489244/

festivals.carolinatheatre.org/retrofantasma/Day of the Dead will be screening at the local theatre here May 11th. Followed by TRAILERPALOOZA! At 9:30pm: "-What is TRAILERPALOOZA, you may be asking yourself? Good question! Trailerpalooza is our first ever, feature length ALL TRAILER show! You’ve been asking for it for years, and on Friday night, May 11th it will finally become a reality. And unlike the trailer shows we run before all Retro shows, this one will dig very deep into the Retro archive to bring out not only those classic trailers that you already know and love, but literally dozens of things you’ve NEVER SEEN before but are bound to become NEW classics for the Retro audience! From the slick, high brow studio hits to the sleazy, no budget, fly by night grindhouse classics, this show will have a little of something for everyone. It will run the gamut from art to trash, from comical to tasteless, from “it seemed like a great idea at the time” to “what the HELL were they thinking when they made this?!?!?!” If you truly love horror, cult or exploitation cinema then this is the show for you. Forget the fake trailers that Tarantino and Rodriguez are pushing off on ya in “Grindhouse”- this stuff is the REAL DEAL! It is completely unique and 100% entertaining. Miss it and perish in unspeakable ways! (well, at least have a lousy summer!)"

I saw a movie called Fido, it's OK. Set in 60s after the zombies rise. Imagine the doctor from Day of Dead was a success, what happens to the reformed zombies? A corporation sells them as pets to serve the humans, that's what. A bit of silliness, not much gore, but fun overall.
And if you're reading into what it all means, could be a statement on immigration and assimilation.

yeah fido was great, but even better was "special dead" subtitle " sometimes heros ride the short bus" its all about a zombie breakout in a retard summer camp. probally one of the best bad movies ive ever seen. think evil dead 2 when you watch it.

Just watched Night of the Comet for the first time. I'm not sure I am at peace with laughing at living dead retards yet, but the idea might warm up on me eventually. That song you linked was funny.

The Deadalive by Peter Jackson(Lord of the rings) was kindof crazy. Its a nutty movie filled with nutty New Zealanders. The part with the lawnmower is the best.
Night of the Comet is a classic. I love that movie since i was a little man.

I saw this in the paper Sunday and could not believe it is an actual movie, they released it on DVD, and the newpaper listed it among the new releases: Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead The trailer looks like the most foul movie: www.poultrygeistmovie.com/

World War Z was more a collection of a hundred short stories, but it was a fun read. Thanks for the recommendation. It was cool to take the story global, but they skipped over the outbreak and it did not sell me on the war on the dead wiping so many out. I thought the book could make for a great graphic novel - it's already written in little chunks of vivid imagery all it needs are the pics.
