What about TV:
Heres the shows I watch
West Wing Law and Order Star Trek The Contender The Apprentice Project Greenlight ER (sometimes)
For my buck West Wing is the best TV drama. Is anyone watching THE CONTENDER. This show totally lives up to the hype. I cant believe how good it is. Jesse Brinley is the man.
Star Trek Enterprise: Well thats it folks. All Star Trek is dead. With the extremely bad box office take of Star Trek 10 (Nemisis) and the pathetic ratings of Star Trek Enterprise. Last weeks enterprise finale should be the end of Star Trek atleast for a long time. They ended the TV show with the whole "Space the final frontier" speech. They started the speech with John Luke Picard showing the Next generation Enterprise. Then blended the speech with Captain Kirk and his ship and finished with Archer and the enterprise ship. It was preatty cool. I love me some star trek but I imagine after 20 hours of movies and 800 hours of tv shows (6 different shows) that they have done every stor you tell on a starship.

My turn: 1. ESPN Baseball Tonight 2. ESPN Sportscenter 3. Jeopardy 4. Dave Chappelle Show (Shazzam!) 5. Family Guy/American Dad/Simpsons Fox cartoons
Never saw a single episode of Contender or West Wing. No reason, just hard to jump into mid-season, or mid-whatever lifespan these shows have already had.
Comedy Channel had Tenacious D on 1AM on Saturday. Uncensored. FUCK FUCK SHIT SHIT COCK ASS FUCK and all that. I was totally amazed. Go Cable TV. Tivo or VCR, any little kid could get this shit. I am just that kid and I am happy to enjoy cable TV.

Anybody watching this show on ABC, "LOST?" It has a really cool premise but the show is annoying the hell out of me. There are like all these mysterious things going on on this island but they never reveal anything and what's worse is that they keep giving NEW mysteries every week. So there are like 100 mysteries going on at once and NOTHING is revealed. It's like the X-files, the truth is out there but NOBODY EVER FUCKIN FINDS IT!
I give this show 3 seasons before people finally say fuck off scumbags, and go watch Fox News.

Spielberg's Into the West is one of the Best mini-series ever. It has allot of good actors and a very good story that chronicals the settling of the old west from both the setttles and the Indians point of view. Custer, the meeting of the railroad, gold rush fever, and boom towns are just a few of the events covered. It has allot of action and battles. If you have not seen it you should. Beacuse their really is'nt allot of shows worth seeing on T.V. these days. I also liked that celeberty dance contest.

Title: 30 Days Channel: F/X Host/ Creator: Morgan Spurlock - creator of "Super-size Me"
This show has real potential to wake people up. Basically, the premise is, Spurlock, or someone else, puts themselves into someone else's shoes for a full thirty days, completely immersing themselves into the culture or climate of a given situation.
The other night, the show centered around the working poor and minimum wage. Spurlock and his girlfriend had to live for thirty days on minimum wage to see if it could be done. They had to find an apartment, a job and then be able to pay the rent, buy food, travel to and from work, and not kill each other because they had no money to go out and relax after a 12 hr. work day.
Spurlock gets this job with an agency, making better than minimum wage, $7/hr, who sends him to a construction site. He busts his ass for 11 hours, then comes back to the agency where they immediately cut him a check. After taxes, he made $45. I almost wanted to cry.
Spurlock said something that I thought was powerful. After one day of work, he was on his way home and was hungry and wanted to get something to munch on, but he just didn't have the money because he had to save to pay the $1000/mo rent. He said, "I've never had to deny myself something to eat because I didn't have enough money." As a fat guy, I was like, "holy shit, that's fuckin poor." And the thing was, he was busting his ass all day at work, it wasn't like he was lazy or anything.
That episode almost made me renounce my republican membership.

The other show is something called Firefly. Its like a space show with a crew and a ship. It was on for a while and got cancelled. But like start trek people fell in love with it. Morgan Spurlock's girl in Supersize me looke dcute and reasonably intelligent although she stirkes me as the kind of dimwit that would advocate drinking teas and "cleansing your soul" if one had cancer instead of trying medicines. I would like to know her back ground and also what she did for those 30 days, did she find a job doing her vegetable chef thing on the street or somehting? just didnt seem to me like she'd even be able to do anything of value. Sorry all, i am biased against do nothing hippie type people. although Morgan Spurlock is the man. A similar show was called the village? or something like that on on thirteen. It had people from all walks of life suddenly live in an isolated community like the pioneers did, they had to manage a town, feed themselves, wear all the period clothing, etc... I dont think anyone survied that. That was awesome. I never watched it to end though
