Where do these ads come from at the top of the message board page? There was one for a movie that lays out a "case" for the theory that Jesus never existed.
And you say we don't need FOX News? This message board is an anti-religious propaganda vehicle.

Yeah that shit messed me up a long time ago on the Dungeons and Dragons message board. I see adds for D&D books and I am like "Wow". What an amazing coincidence.
Yeah, its not. Some kind of automated service text searched the content here and matches it to advertisers. Its kindof brilliant. And hey who knows. Maybe you'll find an ad for something you really like.
Whats funny is that the word Atheist only appears twice out of couple thousand words and that what they target.
Tits, ass, blowjob, blowjob, blowjob, sex, sex, sex, anal beads, cum, dick, pussy, vagina, cock, martha stewart, hand job, naked, nude, liberal

It is Google AdSense at work and it keeps sites like this one free to use. It is not too scary in the end just a keyword search responsible for ads catering to the site. The advertisers themselves are probably the source of the disconnection in the words versus the ads returned - there's probably a lot more guys posting ads through Google AdSense for questioning Jesus than there are guys using it to sell Bibles. Google AdSense is for you to allow the ads and take the money: www.google.com/adsense/login/en_US/Google AdWords is for you to purchase ad space on other people's sites (AdSense spots): adwords.google.com/select/LoginAnyone can add AdSense to their site, but you have to be the site owner and it can't be pornographic or other sites they do not want to advertise with. Let's say I want to advertise my book called Obama the Dragon. I use exact keyword phrase "Multi Dimensional Annihlator" [sic] which is an exact match on this site. Google matches up my ad of Obama's head on a lizard's body to this site. Then this site gets paid for either the number of clicks to my site from that ad or the just the times the ad posts here. Then Google charges me for that plus their mark-up. Here's Wikipedia's link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AdSense#How_AdSense_worksHere's Google's link: www.google.com/ads_by_google.html

I jump from religion to religion until my study reaches a point where my questions can now longer be comfortably answered and I get tire of it (the religion). I really want to talk to a high ranking scientologist about the belief in Martian posession....I somehow doubt I'll get the chance. I sometimes believe religions are a distraction. Set up like the 2 party political system to distract people from whats really going on. As some people get bored with religion they turned to TV for a distraction. I have since been bored with T.V and turned to study. Not school study. That would improve my life. I want the dirt; the truth or at least trivial. Thank good for the Internet. I can research any topic with library like results. Now If I can only market my skills I would in business. My latest searches have been on Cecil Rhodes(De Beers diamonds) of the Rhodes Scholarship (see Pres. Clinton). A truly evil man. White supremest, homo, murderer and admitted secret society guy (I like those). It makes for interesting reading and adds another piece to the puzzle of corrupt government. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecil_RhodesAlso more on topic, is the study of metaphysics. Cool stuff. I also have been studying the Book of Enoch, Judas and other repressed books of the new testament. The Jewish Talmud and Kabbala are really interesting as well. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaphysicsen.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Book_of_Enochen.wikipedia.org/wiki/TalmudHere is a tripped out web site. I read all of it.-metaphysics. www.soulwise.net/here is something from the intro.. "Now - so much for what I think and say. The good thing is, that no one has to agree with me. Meanwhile, we all are the Truth and Reality! As such - we have Opinions. Opinions are temporary personal truth - they always change. That's it for now Folks! Please have fun with all my Opinions. Lots of Goodies on these Pages. Meanwhile..." much more refreshing then believe this or burn in hell for all eternity.

The Age of Aquarius Many use the Term New age to describe some of the emerging Ideas of religion and theology. But in fact the concept is old and based on astro-theology or star worship. The dogmatic Christian religion kind of has some sun worshiping characteristics. Christ is in fact called the "sun" of god. (I don't want to offend) Anyway, moving on. Many old civilization believed in these ages. Including the Mayans. Their calender ending in 2012 showing the end of the present age. Most of the major religions also point to ages and changes as well. Point being we are in the change over period of a new age. The age of Aquarius (you can now sing the song). The old age of Pisces is closing. The Age of Pisces was all about the The Fisher of Men Christ who fed the people of this earth with his 2 fish. To the point : "love one another". So the Pope can get ready to take the fish hat off. The Age of Aquarius is all about the feminine divine or the Holy Spirit the Astrological sign of the guy pouring two water pales into one show the combining of knowledge. Knowledge of self and the divine is suppose to be what it's all about. To make a long story short (which I'm sure you like, "Rings ramblings"). We all come together overtime and a golden age occurs. We become more aware. We leave the old religions and combine religion and technology. We become wiser and all the Bullshit wars will stop. These are the 1000 years of peace in the bible. link: yes it's of Hindu orient I think but if you read the whole thing there are bible quotes from Jesus and other statement from a whole bunch of sources. It really integrates many religious ideas (Won't offend Christians). www.adishakti.org/age_of_aquarius.htm

Unfortunately this is a dying message board. No body writes on it anymore, so why waste your time. If it makes any difference, I still come here every day. But with my son tugging on the key board, it's kind of hard to respond. At this moment, I am holding my son and dictating to my wife who is typing. What a life.

Sorry for checking out.
My computer is shitting the bed, connects to the Internet one time in three. I think we need to buy a whole new machine it messes up on all kinds of things and crashes almost every day. My kid is screaming at me nonstop now that she is 2.5 and wants me to play. As I type I am yelling at her to take her nap.
I did not read the whole Aquarious article. I'll be honest, the name alone was enough to scare me off and it was a bit long. I'm familiar with cyclical cosmic cycles from watching one too many History channel programs. It's not my religion. Oddly though, it does speak to something I felt badly about recently. I read one too many Arthur C Clarke books and the scientific idea of the inevitable burning out of the sun and death of the entire planet depressed the fucking hell out of me. The idea that everything can just evaporate one day and there is nothing we can do about it all, well, few religions dare to go there. And (I believe unfortunately) the ones that make that leap make the error of calling this world flawed and inferior to some ethereal state of being in another dimension. I'm not drinking that flavor of Coolaid, I prefer to drink the blood of God made into flesh with the hope of the resurrection of the flesh. I was actually surprised by some Protestants here telling me about their vision of the Apocalypse. I really don't know where some of this stuff comes from, but my faith reminds me to not pretend to understand the ways of God, to suppose God's plans, nor anticipate when the Kingdom will transform.
And all that came in a thread that lists the sentence: "Tits, ass, blowjob, blowjob, blowjob, sex, sex, sex, anal beads, cum, dick, pussy, vagina, cock, martha stewart, hand job, naked, nude, liberal"

"Yahweh" (Jehovah)– Brutal God of War www.jesusneverexisted.com/brutal.htmThe famed ‘Ten Commandments’ – even today erroneously accepted in the popular mind as absolute and universal rules to live by – are nothing other than a codification of Jewish male property rights.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_Commandments#Division_according_to_different_religions10 commandments primarily about God is the best. Then honor your family. Then do not kill, rape, steal, and lie (in that order). I suppose one could argue that is property if you take it from 1. everything is God's property 2. your family is your property 3. other people have property. Not sure how that undermines anything if the Jews lived by what they believed God coded - Deuteronomy, etc. Chicken ("they lived this way first") vs. Egg ("God told them to live this way first"). This: "erroneously accepted in the popular mind as absolute and universal rules to live by" at odds with New Testament where they put to Jesus the question of which is the best commandment and he evokes the Golden Rule (love they neighbor as thyself). Anyway, that is a funky website. Some people believe everything in the Bible is literally word for word and some think all Christians and/Jews believe everything wholesaler. Not the case at all. Many believe human hands inspired to write but not that God himself wrote word for word. Hard to read literally when there are inconsistencies present, like how Judas died. Vatican link: www.vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/p1s1c2a3.htm"To interpret Scripture correctly, the reader must be attentive to what the human authors truly wanted to affirm, and to what God wanted to reveal to us by their words."

I just woke up. Plus I'm a slow typer. So...The Christian Religion is contrived of different elements of different religions. Roman sun god worship, Judism, and in corperates the Christ story. The story of the pre-dates christianity and was in vogue in both ancient Sumaria and Egypt (Osiris).
Quickly. 10 Comandmants are control tools use to control behavior and instill order. The quote was crazy and id just there to draw people in. You really have to read the articles on the whole websites which i really don't expect any of you to do. All web sites are funky. Christian websites and TV shows are even worse It very hard for me to endure them. (crazy)
Is that the same Vatican that burn people at the stake for saying the world was round....or whatever; hording wealth and golden crosses truely the followers of a humble carpenter.
That was not fare or maybe it was but when I have time i will go to that website. I understand peoples need for structure and religion. I really do...

A Very Liberal Christmas By Bill O'Reilly for BillOReilly.com Thursday, December 16, 2010
Since the forces of good overwhelmed the anti-Christmas brigades a few years ago, the annual yuletide controversies have been rather muted. This year the always reliable ACLU threatened schools in Tennessee with doom if they promoted Christmas and there were a few other atrocities, but generally the traditions of Christmas are on display, bringing happiness to American children.
But there remain dissenters. An atheist put up an anti-Christmas billboard outside the Lincoln Tunnel in New Jersey which reads, "You Know It's a Myth. This season celebrate reason!" You know, I would like to celebrate reason too. That's why I support honoring a federal holiday that allows citizens a day off to think about a man who changed history by preaching "love your neighbor as yourself."
The view some liberal folks have of Christmas is interesting. New York Times columnist Gail Collins is a moderate lefty who says this about the tunnel billboard: "In this battle for the hearts and minds of commuters, the atheists seem to have been overly belligerent, although it is understandable that they get a little testy this time of year."
It is?
Why would any rational person get testy about a federal holiday that brings joy to the majority of their countrymen and helps the economy to boot? As a Christian, I don't mind the winter solstice people doing whatever it is they do. If it involves ice hockey, I might even participate. Why resent the happiness of others especially if no harm is being done? That's not reasonable.
Some liberal people believe that Muslims, Jews and atheists might feel "left out" of the Christmas revelry. Well, I feel left out when folks eat onions because my stomach can't tolerate them. That's just the way it goes. Muslims, Jews, Hindus, and most every other religious group have their own special days, do they not?
Jesus, I believe, would be shocked that his own humble birth has now become an occasion for attack billboards. The Wise Men would also be appalled. King Herod might approve, but he also might have executed the atheists involved just for fun, because that's the kind of guy Herod was.
In the end, the anti-Christmas people are tiresome and petty. Christmas is about the birth of a child and the happiness of all the children who followed him into this world. The day is set up to create magic for youngsters and steep them in giving and receiving. Fanatical adults should not be intruding or interfering with the positive spirit of Christmas. That means you, ACLU.
Finally, there is a reason that Congress designates special days for official celebration. As far as Christmas is concerned, it benefits the individual citizen and the country in general to think about others. That is what Christmas is truly about. It's the reason for the season.
