Fantasy Football 2009 is coming. We are eyeing saturday september 5th for draft day.
Yahoo finally has the proper waiver rules so I am looking to get rid of the replacemnet rules in favor of more transactions. The problem with the old rules was that yahoo treated anyone undrafted as Free agents. That meant the first guy to get to his computer could pick a guy right up. With the right waiver rules no in place all player will be put on waiver rules after their games or maybe tuesday mornings. Then people can place a bid on a guy. The person who is highest on the waiver priority gets the guy.
Yahoo also now has fully customised defensicver positions. Originally i intended all teams to have one Defensive linemen (which encompasses Defensive Ends, Defensive tackles and nose tackles), one Defensive back (Safety or conrerback), and one linebacker. That was not possible so I used the ANY D position. Now that position will be replaced with a linebacker.
Yahoo now also has the option for divisions. This is intersting but comes with it downsides.
No matter what its gonna be good. I just hope your all doing your research.

Would it be possible to get an official draft order? According to last years standings, I am picking 5th, correct?
What determines priority in the waiver system?
Is their a limit on the transactions per season?

-According to last years positions you would draft 5th. Assuming all teams return the draft order will be unchanged.
What determines priority in the waiver system? -Priority in the waiver system starts with the guy who drafted last having highest priority. And everyone else in that order. Once you take a guy off waivers you drop to the bottom of the list. It’s a continuing rolling list throughout the season. Your waiver priotirty is displayed next to your team.
Is their a limit on the transactions per season? -I am still working on this. As of right now I am looking at about 10-14 transactions a team and only 1 or 2 to be executed per week.
These are all details I am resolving as we speak.
Here is the draft order determined from last season. This order is still subject to change dependant on new franchises. Final draft order will be determined by the 9th. Start of Preseason.
1: Cheesebox 2: Booth 3: Larry 4: Jboy 5: Ken 6: Fred 7: Ring 8: Buckley 9: Buc-shot 10: Rob 11: Papo 12: Jmack

Draft Order has been established. Dave Buckley has a new edition on the way and thus does not have time to play this year. My long time neighbor and friend Ryan Jawor will step into his place. In this instance I will treat the transition as a transfer of ownership. Thus Ryan will draft in Buckleys position. So the draft order remains as expected with Ryan drafting in Buckleys spot.
