TO Play:
1. Kashmir: drow mage. Powerfully fun
2. Mergin: dwarf mage/theif. Not at all powerful with spells or the sword, but crafty like a mother and could always find something to do in nearly any situation.
3. Marasmus: human priest of Ilmater (god of suffering). A glutton for punishment that adventured without any armor whatsoever and every trip featured excuses to work in new and more painful self-inflicted tortures.
4. Ronan Tynan: the singing human paladin. Just like the concept and enjoyed not having to think about whether to do the "right" things, he just acted how his code demanded and it was simple. Plus he was tough.
5. Glinfrimmis: elf pretending to be a human, mage-thief pretending to be a bard, character pretending to be a performing NPC. Specialized in illusions and mind altering magic. SO successful he convinced DM he WAS a human bard. ;D
As Other PCs:
1. Eihonder? Cheese's paladin from Greyhawk. Just because he jumped in the mouth of a black dragon on purpose. Got to love guys on your side willing to do anything that it takes, even if it is ludicrous.
2. Ug: Papo's one-named lizardman from Invincible Campaign. Gotta love a right hand man that is there even after shaking off losing his right hand as if it were merely an eyelash. Super-powerful bad-ass ally. Plus he soaked up the damage, which was a nice treat. Plus he is a lizardman and I love lizardmen.
3. Kreig Dragonaxe: Booth's minataur barbarian raging warrior. Now, Cheese played too, but he slept thru it, leaving the campaign a two man operation. We had fun and ever designed a barracks complete with training grounds and a battle wagon. Silly, but fun.
4. Loom: Albino's elf warrior. Battled so many times in Ravenloft it's not even funny. Then he switched over to the good side and became my lieutenant. Nice to have him working for me instead of against me.
5. Ring's devilish character in Larry's campaign. Just because there was some reason my PC decided to "look after" him. Which meant casting spells at him to prevent him from killing bystanders and eating their brains.
NPC Land:
1. KOZAR. If you don't know the legends of Kozar, there is not enough space here to explain why he is immortally placed on this list.
2. Raistlin. (Dragonlance) Super powerful, super evil. But cool too, in a creepy sort of way. I am biased, having read some of the books about him.
3. Kettle Mezaner: halfling sorcerer from Stormrealm. Hard not to like the big bad guy you chase all night only to sit down and have rational conversations with and try to ally with. Literally talked to him for an hour before fighting every time.
4. Pact Lords. Parties of monsters to fight? Bring 'em on. Cool idea and good battles.
5. One armed McGinty, the barkeep so horribly insulted for his lack of a second arm that he went out and bought himself a new one. Just plain memorable.
