I don't believe any down payment is required, but I am going to call tomorrow to make the reservation and I will find out for sure then. I'm just waiting on a few people to see if they are going to bring any friends before I make the reservation.

I'm sure if you made the reservation for 20 and showed up with 30 it would not be a problem.
Bad News: Governer Schwartzenegaa will not be able to make it to this event. Maybe next. GET TO THE CHOPPER

Thank YOU Brian for the kind words. I just want to get together with my friends and have a great time shooting all my other friends.
Well, it's Friday and this will probably be the last organizational post before the blitzkreig.
So, water, make sure you bring plenty of water or gatorade so you don't dehydrate. This place has water coolers, but they never refill them, so its safer to have your own water supply.
Food, they have a snack bar that sells hot dogs and hamburgers during the designated lunch hour. The line gets long, so you may want to think about bringing your own lunch.
Seating, there are tables as well, but not enough for everybody, so you may want to bring a chair or blanket to lounge on at lunch or between games.
Arrival, Liberty Paintball is expecting us at 8:30am, so we should arrive by 8:30am. We have to get organized, rent equipment, and fill out paperwork. For 20 guys, this will take time, especially for first-timers. Not to mention there will be walk-ons, and other private parties trying to do the same thing.
Directions From Newburgh, NY and Points West Take I-84 east to Exit 18 (Route 311). Make a left at the end of the ramp and take Rt. 311 East until it ends at Rt. 22. Make a right onto Rt. 22 South, go 0.3 miles and make a left into Liberty Paintball located at the Thunder Ridge Ski Area. Follow the main access road up between the lifts to the parking area on the hill.
Money, make sure you bring enough money, last time we were there they didn't have a cash machine and I don't know if they accept credit cards.
Clothes, you may want to consider bringing a change of clothes to go home in, as you will be pretty dirty and smelly, smelly, smelly, smelly (hint hint).
Well, I can't think of anything else I haven't already written on this message board, so when in doubt, go back and read the last 3 pages over. I can't wait to see you my friends.

I really enjoyed that. We all had problems seeing and slipping. Some were outguned others out manuevered. Many fell to long range shoots. Allot were snuck up on by stealth. But we all played through the rain and had a great time. I shot and killed and was killed by a great group of guys. I never thought I would say that and I hope I can say it again. I would like to give props to everyone for making this a great time. Ken, you were a great player and allot of fun to play against.(sorry for whining), Rob and Freddie were great to me and also fun to kill , Larry a great teammate and enemy , Booth you were a big moving target and so dead in two seconds , Papo saving the flag, James was my wingman, Doffy was off the hook good, Art the Terminator, Okrin's son my favorite target ;D, all in all; a real success and the woman didn't even bust my balls, sweet......I don't ever think I have had that many people I have actually liked in one place at one time. Too bad Jonny and Buckley could not make it.

Hell yeah Ringo,
That was a blast Well organised Ken Nasi. Ok, there was no real organization but Ken dared to lead this expedition. Sort of an Avengers Assemble.
Fred came through with mad people. Actually Fred brought as many people as everyone else combined. Here my best guess of who was there. Help me if I left anyoen out. These brave soldiers should be remembered with honor.
1- Ken 2- Pete (Kens friend) 3- Tony (kens brother in law) 4: Marko (Tonys friend) 5- Zeppo (Marko's friend) 6- Larry 7- James (my cousin) 8- Pat (My cousin) 9- Chris Oakrent 10- Mikey (Chris Okrents son) 11- Rob G 12- Booth 13- Papo
14- Fred 15- Doffy (Freds Brother in law) 16- John (Freds Stepdad) 17- Nijul (Nephew) 18- Nick (Nephew) 19- Doffy Eldest son who kicked ass 20- Freds brother 21- Art (The professional old guys) 22- Damon (Arts son adult) 23- 3rd generation art (child) 24: Big Red 25: Ringo 26: Greg Pollo (Freds coworker)
That was a great fucking time. I swore it was gonna get called for rain. And those first couple games sucked. But in the end we got what we came for.
Respect to the old heads. I know my old ass cant get down as hard as perhaps i once could. But the old heads were no joke. Ken, Larry, Ring, and Okrent were tearing it up. Ring was invisiable to me, Larry was a rampaging warlord, Ken reminded me of Jesse the body with that gun, and Okrent was a true guerilla.
Doffy and his eldest son were really fucking good too.
Fred Torres was no joke either and Boof presense alone was enought to effect morale on the enemy team. Thanks for letting me surrender fred, And sorry to that little kid (art3) or I shot in the back of the skull.
Art the professional was cool but i never saw that dude take an advance position. He came walking up after Ken, pete, doffy, Pat, or I had taken the hill.
Damn I wish Jboy, Buck, and Cheese could have been there for this madness.
It was truly awesome just to see all those cool people together at the same time. much less doing something extrremely cool with them. That was a pleasure and a blast fellas. Thanks Ken, and Thanks everybody for a cool ass time

I can't believe what a phenomenal time I had. Usually when I go play with a few friends and a bunch of walk-ons, I get separated from my friends and wind up out there on my own. This time I was surrounded by friends and the only thing I feared was the occasional sting of a paintball. It was awesome.
I agree with Ring, I don't think I've ever been in a place surrounded by so many friends.
Everybody was totally cool and I give mad props to everyone just for showing up and making the day as great as it was. It seemed like it was destiny.
As I was driving to the paintball field yesterday morning, I imagined a satellite view in my head of the NY area, all our friends represented by moving red dots, all converging on one area for all out warefare. I thought, this will be a day of days, a truly good day to die, if only temporarily.
It was really cool to play in our own private party. There was just enough players to make movement possible without millions of paintballs flying through the air. This type of play made it possible to actually use some tactics and flanking maneuvers, which added a new depth to the game. In this respect, I have to give mad props to my squad; Okrent, his son Mike, and Pete, who watched each others rear.
And to everybody who recruited friends, family and co-workers, great job!
And of course, super respect to:
Rob: with a bum knee, who helped take out the sniper on the hill and led the charge from the train that annhilated the Red team.
Lar: a true warrior, always in the thick of it; sick, unafraid muther
Ring: a ghost warrior, trying to shoot him was like capturing a fart in the wind, except when I got him in the leg ;D it was great you came dude!
Chris Okrent: Who helped take me the hill and capture the blue flag!
Mike: fearless little fucker
Pete: awesome cover fire, fearless charger, great point-man
That Guy in the Grey Shirt: Somehow this guy became my nemesis. No matter where I went, how I flanked, he was there. I killed him three times, he shot me once in the face.
Tony: bastard shot both Rob and I with two consecutive paintballs
Fred: a true leader
Art: as Rob put it, he was "Willem Defoe-ing" it all over the place
Booth: Mr. Invincible
Papo: Defended our flag all by himself! A rampaging berserker
I couldn't have asked for a better day, and truly this will go down in my memory as one of the funnest days in history. Thanx for making it as cool as it was. Hopefully we can repeat it some time in the future!
