Rob, good job in getting Booth and Papo!
Fred, you are the mad recruiter! But are you sure your not using this trip as an excuse for a family renunion?
We need at least three more people and a few extra would be good for those that may drop out at the last second.
Make sure that everybody knows how much money to bring. Paintball is expensive, but if every couple of guys can chip in for the paint, you can cut the cost down. These costs are directly from the website.

Stunning News:
I have recruited another for paintball. A man long ago lost to Wife and children. I have pulled him from the depths of hell and filled his head with the dream of shootting down his friends.

So those of you playing and renting all the equipment will pay $25 as opposed to $30! Whew-hew!! Yee-Ha!

The "Paintball Madness So Far List" as of 9:59pm 7/10/05
1. Ken 2. Rob 3. Lar 4. Ring 5. Fred 6. Boof 7. Papo 8. Pete (Ken's Police Officer Friend) 9. Tony (Ken's brother-in-law) 10. Marco (Ken's cousin-in-law) 11. Eric (Ken's ex-neighbor) 12. Fred's co-worker #1 20. Fred's co-worker #2 21. Marco's friend 22. Chris Okrent 23. Patrick (Lar's cousin)
This is going to be awesome. We'll have our own game, field and judges. We will only be shooting at each other and there won't be any super-paintball dudes that have been playing for like 20 years and think their in Viet Nam or something. Since we're all cool with each other, we can form tactical squads and practice our warfare for the zombie apocalypse. And since there are not 40 people on a team, which is total overkill, anyone can practice a lone wolf strategy and not get shot by 5 people instantly.
So here is the deal. People should be at the Liberty Paintball at Thunder Ridge location at 8:30am for registration. At registration, we will collect and rent equipment, buy and divide paintballs, fill out paperwork, get assigned a judge and an itenerary, and immediately begin play. If all goes as planned and everyone is accounted for, we should begin play by 9:00am. The last game ends at approximately 5:00pm. At 5:00pm, if you are a typical adult and are not in olympic shape, you may feel like you are going to die. But if you have killed many of your friends, this will sustain you on the ride home.
Please arrive on time. I have never made reservations for a private game before and am not sure of the protocal. It is in your best interests to get there on time because the earlier we begin, the more bang we get for our bucks, i.e. the more games we play. If you get there late and we are already on a field, you will have to wait for the game to be over before you can join, and therefore you have missed one game already.
There is a lunch break around 12:00 which lasts between 30 - 45 minutes. There is a small snack stand where you can buy hot dogs and hamburgers and sodas. There are picnic tables outside and tables inside the rental office to eat on/at.
There are bathrooms on site, but they are not much to look at.
You park your cars at the staging area, which is right outside the rental office and snack stand, and after every game, we meet back at the cars and hang and tell war stories. So if you want to bring a cooler with food and drink, change of clothes or equipment, you will have easy access between games.
One piece of equipment that people may want to invest in is a pair of knee pads. When squatting for a long period of time, or diving for cover, knee pads are very helpful.
See your individual recruiters for more information or hit the website that I previously put on this thread for more info, pix, and prices.

Cheese Box wont be able to make it. But his belly might.
Now for some statistical analysis. I compute a 10% drop out rate. Meaning if we have exactly 20, 2 will drop out. If we have 22, we will have 19 for sure and an 89% chance of making 20. So 23 is the target number to reach CRITICAL MASS. By my calculations of course

Good point Rob about the kids under ten info.
Now for some questions.
1. Hey Fred, how old is your nephew?
2. Hey Lar, what is the actual, no shit percentage that Chris Okrent will show up?
3. How old is Chris Okrent's son? No one under 10 years old is allowed.
4. Fred, you recruited mad people, what is the actual, no shit percentage these people will actually show up?
10% drop-out rate sounds correct to me, so keep recruiting. My nephew, Jason, just got very sick, so he won't be able to make it next week and my brothers-in-law are fags so they turned me down as well.
I'm waiting on Tony to let me know if he is going to bring some co-workers, but he has to wait till Monday night to let me know because the weekly work schedule comes out on Monday morning. So if we are lucky, we might be adding 2-3 more people by Monday night.
