Just a post to inquire as to interest in the continuation of the fantasy baseball league I ran a couple years running. If there is any, post here, things would have to be different as I live in NC and cannot serve as Optimus Prime of it.
Of course, I am cool either way. Just wondering what the fallout would be after the popular football league ran its course. (Is that scheduled next year yet?)

Season starts March 30th. Unless there is any ground-swell of interest I am assuming this season will pass without our beloved fantasy baseball league. Or perhaps I just won't be involved in ones run in Beacon.

I nominate you bastards all pile into a car and drive a million miles down here to do it. ;D I'd bake a key-lime pie and serve ice tea until the sun goes down. Then we could torch the neighboring building and hold the draft under the light of its burning embers. ;D Yes, I have lost my mind. Alas, I cannot help arrange a damn thing and the prospects of me making it to NY for such a glorious event are slim. Somewhere between chances of comets touching down and throwing the Earth out of orbit and chances Barry Bonds "never knowingly ingested steroids". What I can tell you is this: Woody and Haase literally play baseball trivia and Woody calls me about that stuff. This makes me think the numbers of teams in a league could reach double digits. But the thought of me not playing breaks my heart. Good luck guys.

WELL I DOUBT THAT BUT ISNT THERE A WAY WE CAN ALL BE IN A CHAT ROOM AND ALL HAVE THE DRAFT ON THE COMPUTER?
IM DEFINATLY NO GENIUS AT COMPUTERS BUT IF IT CAN BE DONE BY GOD WE SHOULD DO IT. LIKE 2 MINUTES A PIECE TO PICK A PLAYER ANY PLAYER FILLING ALL SPOTS. BASICALLY THE SAME THING AS LAST YEAR JUST A SPEED DRAFT
TEA AND CRUMPITS FOR EVERYONE.

See Yahoo Fantasy Baseball League # 306004, password is jelly. This is a reference tool and not the be all and end all of stats and winners for the league. To be blunt, there are limitation and I do not trust the site better than yours truly at handling these things. However, it is a good way of having some idea of who is on who's team and what the general strengths of each team are in relation to one another. The biggest problem is a certain roster size limitation online. This annoys me as there seems no reason for it. out of thirty players drafted in rounds they disallow, nine made their way into final rosters in our league. These rounds are important and can matter, so I indlude them and refuse to cower to Yahoo's silly limitations. Oh yeah, and I really have no clue how it will all work online too, that might have something to do with the shaky endorsement from................... THE COMMISH
