It began as an idea. And in time it became a Movement. And though we rejoice at this great achievement all must remember there is still much to be done. Waiting out there in the cold abyss of cyber space lurk the freightened and uninitiated whom are yet to post. We must serve as an example to them. That any idea, no matter how aloof or unfounded, is worth exchanging. Here we maintain our franchise of ignorant and irrellevant commentation. Those who will follow must be brave. And now that they must post. For many days from now they must bask themselves if they could trade back everyday from now till then to come back and make just one post. I think it was thomas jefferson who said a post is worth a thousand words. This idea was solidifyed in the magna carta where it was decreed that all posts are created equal.
It is a great thing we've done and yet the greatest is yet to come. But never forget.
That many Bothans died to bring us this message board.
Congrats to all and to all a "Long Live"

four score and seven month ago rob gault set forth a new message board concieved in the idea that all geeks are created equal
now we are engaged in a conversation testing whether that message board, or any message so concieved and so dedicated, can long endure. we are met on a great string of topics.
we have come here to dedicate a portion of this site, as a final monument for those who gave thier opions that that message board might live.
It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. "But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate ~ we can not consecrate ~ we can not hallow ~ this website.
for all computer nerds living and dead
just a thought
this is lawrence e gault last surviving member of the nastomo signing off
