If history is any lesson, this will be the weekend the Yankees stomp all over the west coast and use those games to launch themselves into the playoffs. ;D

::)I wish the Yanks would beat up on some teams but it seems that sub-par teams like Tampa Bay and Seattle do well against the Yanks. It is crunch time and at least were in there.

That's my Bubba ;D It's about time they put Boston where they belong, atop the Wild Card race and not the AL East

Well two weeks ago I pulled myself away from football for a moment to check on the yanks. I was alarmed at noting that they might not even make the playoffs. So then we go 9-1 over the last ten games and as of yesterday are the AL East Top Dog. Business as usual. Still theres like 11 games left and Boston is only half game behind. Its scary too cause which ever one of us loses the division could miss the playoffs entirely.

Ah 10-1, how bout those Mets. 17 mill for a .270 hitter who played two weeks of great baseball last year(Beltran). They should have got the Impaler. Now he plays for the Angel's who be the way the Yankees are going to have to watch out for in the post season. Small world........Posada, 2 homers last night. Shef with a broke leg hits another homer........It's on, oh yes it's on....

This is the Yankees, this is the reason other teams have nightmares of Babe Ruth. The guys can play.

Ah, 11-1. Back to back homers first 2 batters up. Jeter and Cano; 5th time in yankee history. Boston was losing but the came back. It's going to come down to the last series between the Yanks and Sox's. I sometime get the feeling that teams give games up when they have no chance, Lily(ex-Yankee) says "hey we're out. I hate Boston so, Merry christmas". Or vise versa. You can't prove it. The pitcher just had an "offday". It happened in the past.

11-2, they should have started small instead of Wright.

WELL NOW ITS A TIE FOR FIRST AND BOSTON IS GOING DOWN. IF THEY MAKE IT OVET THE YANKEES I WOULD SAY THE ERA HAS COME TO AN END. IT IS GOING TO BE VERY UPSETTING TO SEE THE YANKS GOING HOME BEFORE OCT, ONLY TO COME BACK IN APRIL TO SEE BABE'S RECORD GO SHORTLY AFTER THAT .
THIS COULD BE THE DOWNFALL THAT POOR DON MATINGLY WALKED INTO 20 YEARS AGO WITH THE YANKS IN A SKID.
GOOD LUCK FANS AND IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO SHIT REAL BAD TRY TO GET TO BOSTON AND SHIT ON THEM.

Here's to the fucking Yankees! ;D I really thought that Bonds was going to slump coming out of injury. Instead he is about as amazing as ever. Unbelievable. Pretty smart of him to try and get out there and play through the boos this season. Who knows what will happen next season when he bashes records out the box. Here is a great article I read today about Mark McGwire and his testimony: sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2173963On steroids: I remember when Roberto Alomar was bood like crazy for years for spitting at an umpire. Steve Garvey had a messy divorce. Then Pete Rose was cheered like mad until the the point he fessed up everything and admitted being a gambling fool. So clearly fans are stupid as a whole and the whole cheering/booing thing is relative. But why is Jason Giambi basically let off the hook? He is the only guy who came out and said under leaked testimony "I pumped my ass full of everything I could get my fucking hands on." Palmeiro denied everything and is still fighting the drug results, but people villify him as the personification of what is wrong. People boo Bonds like crazy although nothing has really stuck to his record for some odd reason. Hypothetically, if you had done steroids and could come out, should you? If you are Canseco the answer is apparently no. If you are Giambi the answer is appearently yes. That is complete bullshit. Fuck them all. Anyone close enough to being guilty should be booed. Or else nothing matters really, if it is just about the guy's personality. SO for the record, FUCK JASON GIAMBI. I don't care how many home runs and walks his scrub ass gets, fuck him. I want a refund for all those tickets I bought to watch him play out his multi-million dollar contract.
