Concerning the TV show Lost: So I have seen every episdoe now and must say its a very good show. But they are pulling that old X-files shit where they tease you with mysteries FOREVER. Still though the characters are really cool and as long as the characters stay strong the show should stay good. My thoughts of the shows mysteries: Whats the Hatch: It appears after last week that the hatch is a nuclear fallout shelter built by an american company (could be military). Whose the guy in the hatch: I have no idea. All we know is "He was gonna race arround the world". A polite? But he apparently thinks the world ended and thats why hes in there. Dont be suprised if hes right about the world ending and our survivors just dont figure it out till season 10. Who are the others: I'm guessing the others are the descendants of the survivors of The Blackrock. Having survivied on the island for over century living within their own warped crossbreeded culture. Where did the others get a real boat or the gas for it: I have no fucking idea. But maybe the french ladies science vessel was real big and had a smaller boat like that attached. If the Big boat is still in reasonable shape there could be alot of gas in there that they use sparingly. Why do the others steal kids: Dont know. Though I did note that the Blackrock was a slave ship and the new kid taken was black. Probably incidental. Perhaps they steal kids because They need new blood, kids are immune to the SICKNESS, dont know. What about the whispers of the others: This could just be them literally follwing people arround and whispering. Or it could be some supernatural shit. Or maybe they have like underground tunnels that carry sound over distances and when your close to the tunnel you hear the sound as whispering. RIGHT What the Security system/invisible dinosaur: Ok its not an invisible dinosaur but its was for the whole first season so thats what i call it. Now it seems more like sentient black smoke. The roaring noise does begin to sound more like a mechanical sound. Maybe it is just a big mechanism that masks itself in black smoke or something. I think its a big machine. But what for: A security system for the fallout shelter. Or for whatever else is on the island? ?// What about the numbers: I have no idea. The doomsday code. They could be just be the serial number on the fallout shelter that the dude down is broadcasting in hopes of someone finding him? What about polar bears: I think they were on board the french ladies scinece vessel when it crashed. Other stuff Why does Locks legs work now??? Why does lock see the furture??? Why does the kid seem to have mind powers???

So we got some answers maybe.
Tell me this. Why the fuck do people not do full on interroagtaions. And where the fuck is Desmond going.
So the island has bizzarre Elcrto magnetic activity. My girl friend says that they can use electromagnetic technology to stimulate nerves. Is this why Lock can walk. The dude on the film said the EM anomally was only on THAT PART OF THE ISLAND. Maybe Locks legs stopped working when he went to the plane because he was leaving the area of EM. Hmmmmm.
What does typing the numbers in the computer do? I think it just sets the broadcast to the appropriate recitation. Remember the original message was the numbers. But the french chick changed the message to "Everyones dead". But in between each loop was some dude saying recitation blank. The real question is why the broadcast. Why is the recitation important?
The others: Now are those the others or is that simply the people who survived the tail section. I think that chick lied about surviving alone. Shes either with the others or shes with the other folks who survivied the tail section. Including black chicks husband.
But I have further developed a theory: I still think the others are the descendants of the black rocks survivers. But now i am think the survivors were all slaves. Remember it was proabably a slave ship. I say the slaves killed the masters but could not steer the ship or simply headed for the first land they could find. Being africans they had no problem surviving. And perhaps the whispers we hear is some ancient african amgic mumbo jumbo. Hmmmm.
I realise now not all my theories are consistant. Cause the dudes who took Michaels kid were white. Maybe 2 group of survivors from Black rock. Oh fuck i dont know. But I want more answers. Not this half ass bullshit we been getting. Oh and now we gonna leave someone in the hatch to press the botton every 108 minutes.
Holy shit, i just this second realised that if you add up all the numbers its 108. 4 8 15 16 23 42 = 108
Now that makes me think that the code in the computer is triggering something to occur at these increments over every 108 minute period. Interesting too that they have 4 minutes to enter the code. You would think soemthing so precise as this could not do with a variable window. But then again the first number is 4. Perhaps that is only the begin code sequence. If so then 42 could be the end code trigger. Making only the 4 middle numbers catylists for something. Hmmmmm.
Help me out here people.

So the numbers are minutes for me now.
So each pair of men goes down for 540 days. Thats 7200 cycles of 108 minutes. So each man does the cycle 3600 times. What does all mean.
Also I gathered from the episode that there are 6 bases such as the one they found.

This show is freakin ridiculously crazy. The non-stop mysteries are fascinating, interesting and completely frustrating. Every week one or two new mysteries are created, and almost nothing revealed. I have heard many theories about what is really going happening on this island, and the only thing I really buy into is that it is all not real.
Why?
Because nobody is acting like they should. Rob, you wrote about people not doing full-on interrogations and you are so correct. For example, Saheed comes into the shelter to fix this computer. He has less than 5 minutes to do so, and everybody is freaking out around him. Locke asks him, don't you want to know why you have to fix it so fast? Saheed says, I figure you'll tell me after I fix it.
Who fucking says this? NOBODY!
In fact, nobody tells anybody the whole story. They all talk in circles, being purposely vague and NOBODY calls them on this pattern of speech!
This quirk alone leads me to believe that it's just not real. What do I mean by this? Possibly a simulation, a matrix-type computer-generated world? Some people actually in on the experiment, like Saheed (technical knowledge, too calm), and experimentees, (Locke, who can miraculously walk, see into the future, etc). Jack is probably an experimentee because he is trying to understand and break free.
Now we have this count-down. This is obviously part of the sociological experiment. Back in the 40's or 50's there was a sociological experiment, where there was a scientist in a room supposedly hooked up to wires that could deliver an electrical charge. Then a person off the street, taking part in an experiment, was told to turn a dial to up the voltage and press a button to deliver the charge. All the guy off the street could hear was the scientist in the other room screaming every time the switch was hit. As the voltage went up, so did the level of screaming, and finally silence.
The experiment was designed to see how the average person would react to an authority figure telling them to hit a switch regardless of the consequences. This was ground-breaking. Believe it or not, most people went up to the full voltage.
So now it looks like this is similar, except that there can't possibly be any real consequences of NOT keying in the sequence. It's all bullshit, a leftover of some old experiment.
What is insane, is how quickly Locke and Jack readily buy into it. More evidence that they are the experimentees?
Also, what the hell happened to the dinosaur stalking the island? Didn't it actually EAT the pilot?
The Others! It looks like their clothing is modern, so maybe they are not descendents of the Blackrock crew, unless they have a tie to the mainland and shopping? That black guy is tough, but how does that bitch take away the tough guys gun? That killed me. You know me. I went fuckin BERSERK!
Maybe the guys on the boat are part of the experiment somehow, caretakers of the island? And they didn't want a child to be involved in the experiment?
It just gets more bizarre. Is the electro magnetic field supposed to be similar to the Bermuda Triangle and therefore used to explain all the weird anomolies?
Good work Rob, figuring that all the numbers added up to 108. BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!
Maybe by triggering the code, it keeps the experimentees IN the experiment. If they don't put in the code, they wake up out of the matrix simulation?
This is like Waxing Poetic.

Thank you. this is biggest probel with the show. Not that some people talk in circles. But no one respond with "Hey fuckface, your talking in cicles. I have a gun, give me a direct answer."

My Theory,
Remote Veiwing is a huge part of the show.
And this is what leads me to believe this.
The Hanzo foundation has 7 projects listed on their website. One of them is "Excelerated Remote Veiwing project"
The founder of Remote veiwing is named "Igna Swan". (Swan base)
The defense department uses remote veiwing and long ago developed TRV. Technical remote veiwing which is highly complicated systemised technique to remoteley veiw. According to this process the target is assigned a numbers code (usually 8). The remote veiwer is givin no more information then these numbers.
Are the coincidences adding up yet.
How bout the average TRV session last 45 minutes. An episode of Lost is 45 minutes long without commercials. EVERY EPISODE OF LOST STARTS WITH A ZOOM IN ON AN EYE. Its a different eye almost every time but everytime its one of our characters. And for that episode we see that characters perspective.
Is someone remotely veiwing our Losties. Do they veiw a different person each episode. Is this why the numbers are broadcast.
Was Lock the one being veiwed when Walt touched him and told him not to go into the hatch. Did walts mind abilities allow him to tap into the Veiwing and see what lock was thinking?
Was Walt taken to become A VEIWER
The whispers: Are the whispers only heard by the star of the episode? The person being veiwed?. In remote veiwing its important to keep your own thoughts from currupting the image you see in your mind. Could the whispers be the thoughts of our veiwer being projected onto the target. Or are they people in the room with the veiwer simply talking.
The screwy details: Like the record player being different. Like the hatch being NEW when desmond is there and old when the losties arive. There is always a certain amount inaccuracy in remote veiwing. Actually in real life most remote veiwers get alot of the details wrong. If we are the veiwers are essentially seeing the perception of the remote veiwer then we would see thier inaccuraces.
Its only one piece of the puzzle. But I am certain this is substantial.

So let me get this straight. Remote viewing is a person who has the ability to see or picture things in his/her mind from afar, by a form of astral projection?
But what is the purpose? Hmmm?
Interesting.

Yeah thats what it is.
Anyone can do it. You just dont get results that are accurate unless you got the shining.
Its like this. Clear your mind of alll thoughts. Control your breathing. Let thoughts pass out of your mind. Now picture a window in your mind. Then I will give you the numbers which are keyed to some location. Think of the numbers and look at what appears in your window. Write down any thoughts of colors, shapes, tempueture. Draw any images you see. But be careful not to let you imagination put things in the box. Thats it.
The FBI and defense department use it to Spy on locations, trapped POWs, serial killer shit and all that.
The type of RV i think they are doing on lost is very much like how the Defense department does it so its probably some government x-government guys.
Why are they doing it. I HAVE NO CLUE>
This is but one of many things i think is going on.
But the electro magnetic shit is huge too. You can do a ton of shit with electro magnetism.

Do nuclear reactors create an electro-magnetic field? Sayeed said that the last time he saw concrete on such a scale and level was at Chernobyl. Maybe there is some nuclear reactor on the island that powers all the freaky shit going on; experiments, strange creatures, the others, the power, and that has to be monitored by keying in the numbers sequence every 108 minutes to keep the thing from melt-down.

I dont know if reactors do but is supect so becuase i do know that an electro magnetic pulse was generated by the bombs on japan. I will find out.

Still Lost here.
Some things you might have missed in recent episodes. When they meet bearded man and the others the bearded man calls out for one of his friends to bring out Kate. He says "Alex, bring her out". Alex is the name of the french ladies kid abducted 16 years ago.
In Charlies religious hulucination you can see and barely hear the drug plane crash.
When Eko saw the black smoke there were images of Echos life inside the smoke. Also there was noises who internet geeks have boiled down to words. People were speaking inside the smoke. Crazy
What does it mean. Who knows.
IS the sickness taking hold of charlie. French chick said her group started getting sick after 60 days. Our group is approaching that number.
I still have no idea whats going on. But I know one thing. I dont give damn about any story arcs involving Charlie. All the layers of his charatcre have been explored. He serves no further purpose on the island. He should die soon. Oh, and Jack should hit that
PS- If anyone needs Lost episodes i will provide any and all you may need.
